The home or venue becomes full of energy as all the people whether they are relatives or social people come together and join hands for every ritual.
The one thing which is very important in an Indian wedding is decoration. The decoration may be of the kinds like mandap, car, sangeet, engagement, mehendi, stage etc. the mandap decoration is significant decoration as all the holy rituals take place in the mandap only where the bride and groom come together and sit and it is the first specific wedding ritual where the bride is handed over to the groom and he takes the responsibility too.
Hence when it comes to mandap decoration the carelessness is to be avoided. The vendor who is given the responsibility of decoration takes care of the mandap too. In the mandap the bride and groom are seated together and ceremony is conducted. The mandap decoration depends upon the requirements and hence decorated with flowers , eye catching colors and light effects. The mandap is the center of all the rituals. At the center of the mandap the holy fire is lit and the couple performs all the rituals there itself.
The mandap basically has the seating arrangement for the Pandit and the couple and the people involved time by time come and go. The mandap is a square which is furnished by silk or garlands for the pillars of mandap. The mandap is the special attraction as all the people gather around it so it should be thoroughly decorated with bright colors like red, golden and silver. It should be heavily lighted inside and outside. The carpet and furniture can also be used as per the requirements.
